... Hi there Sorry, I don't have any "good" advice, as I am new to PCOS. However, I think that it is crucial you spend whatever money you need to go see a doctor. What's the point of letting it get worse? Then you'll be stuck paying MAJOR doctor bills. Maybe the pain you're experiencing isn't stemmed from PCOS, maybe it's a kidney stone. ... nd referred me to a Gynaecologist. I had my apt with Gynae on the 18th Jan and wasn't aware I'd have a uterus biopsy. The Dr just asked if she could do a vaginal examination and take a sample. I wasn't really prepared for the biopsy and she only talked through it whilst I was having it done. ... (0 replies)

No need to be terrified sweetheart.....here's what happens.... if your dr is a man, a female nurse will be there....you will lay on a paper covered table and your feet placed in "stirrups" to hold your legs open and support them during the exam. the dr will put on some latex gloves and use a lube to make the gloves slide inside you easier - it will be kinda cold, but thats... ... So I recently had an ultrasound scan because I haven't been having my period for over a year now. The results came back and my doctor said that I most likely have PCOS. He then said that the hospital have requested that I have an "internal exam" or a pelvic exam (I think) to confirm this. Pain on left flank

... ound it tends to hurt more if I drink a lot and when my bladder is suppose to feel full i don't feel it I feel the pain in my left flank area! I've had a bladder examination and a ct scan which showed nothing! ... (2 replies)
