... I would have her seen by an endo. Cysts on your ovaries don't mean a woman has pcos but some doctors will make that leap, cysts can occur with or without pcos and some women with pcos don't even have them. ... (2 replies)

... I just wanted to let you know that yes PCOS can be diagnosed by labs. If you have ovarian cysts they cannot diagnose the syndrome without blood work because then you could just have ovarian cycts which is common enough.
