... How do you know you are not depressed? Depression can manifest itself in just the way that you describe. It puts a thick damper on your emotions so you will not feel pain or sorrow. One side effect of this is, unfortunately, that you lose access to the positive emotions as well. I imagine that you do come across as sullen and deadpan. This can be off-putting to interviewers...
