... for those who must Splenda is fine to use in pregnancy however it is synthetic and anything that is not real is poison tho the body pregnant or not, I have been learningt alot about this stuff in one of my nutrition classes for scholl and sugar period is detrimental to the body, splenda and things of that nature is awful , so if you have to use something like a sweetener... ... I used to really like Splenda, but then learned it's made with sucralose, which is a derivitive of chlorine. ... I think moderation is the key. I actually don't really drink soda, however my husband and I tried this 7-Up Cherry and Fruit Juice flavor and it contains splenda. I will have one once or maybe twice a week. I don't constantly drink soda or these 7-Up drinks, but lately I have. ... I'm pretty sure you shouldn't have aspartame when you are pregnant, but what about splenda. It's suppose to be made from sugar, and not have the bad sidde effects of aspartame. Is it ok to have some in you're drink or not. I don't usually use a lot of it. Thanks Lainie :bouncing: (17 replies)
