Hi there. I guess it is hard for me to understand your position because I would never put up with crap like that for a single second and cannot understand why you do. Your husband is clearly very insecure. And you are a grown woman with children of her own...why do you think it's okay to kow-tow to your husband? Are you afraid of him?

My boyfriend is prone to the occassional hissy fit himself, and when that happens I usually just rip him a new one and go about my day. I have no time for sillyness. Why can't you just tell your husband, "Look bud, I'm getting off the phone now, bye," and then just hang up? Or tell him that if he thinks he is going to listen in on your private conversations that he has another thing coming?

I don't get why you don't just tell him off. Are you afraid of your husband? If so, then maybe you need to get out of your marriage. Either way, you have to start laying down the law. Or else just keep going on in this ridiculous manner for the rest of your life.

no i'm not afraid of him and i wouldn't have put up with this crap either but then he is the only one that would do any thing in the world for me and the kids(not his kids) he is wonderful but he's way too controlling but how do i convence him of that ? i know he'll stop once he see's it himself i know because he has with outher things that went wrong with us
