Honestly, I think you're overthinking this. She is a single mom, she works 7 (!) days a week, and she has a home to maintain for the kid. That's a huge amount of stress for ANY woman to deal with. You have not posted anything to indicate there is anything else going on other than she is totally stressed.

Maybe you just don't understand women, but I thought that people in general just don't feel like talking or dealing with other people when they are completely burned out from work or school or whatever. Sometimes people just want to come home from work and veg in front of the tv and do nothing and not deal with anyone. She still has to deal with the kid, so perhaps her "alone" time is more valuable to her because of that.

I don't think you have anything to worry about and I think you need to chill. Stop bugging her about it too because THAT is the part that will cause her to change her mind and decide she doesn't want to be with you anymore. You have confronted her several times about this and she tried to laugh it off casually, so I strongly suggest you just chill out and don't worry about it. I highly highly doubt, with her working 7 days a week being a single mom that she has time to go out and find another boyfriend so the chances of her actually cheating on you are slim to none.

I don't think you need to do any kind of grand gesture, either. A simple text once in a while to say, "Hey I'm thinking about you" can go a very long way, more so sometimes than spending a ton of money on flowers and candy. Small gestures done semi-frequently but sporadically enough to still be a surprise are so much better than just one grand gesture once a year.

i agree totally with this. i do think she likes you and wants you in her life but she wants more time for herself when shes got home from a stressful day at work maybe a relationship everyday is too much for her to deal with at moment. i too think you need to relax and take it easy and no grand gestures. just simply text her or call her and talk about everyday things ,make her or eachother giggle, offer a meet up for coffee or make a meal at yours or her place. let her know your there for her and will take it slow and at her pace. as she said things will get better so relax and look forward to that i do think she is into you, some people just need a little time thats all. also i do think you deserve to know where ya stand too.
