Hi, first post - I'm new to this forum. I've suffered from RLS since childhood, but it seems to have gotten a lot worse in the past 5 years. I am now averaging 2-4 hours sleep a night. I tried tramodol last year, but when I ran out and had to go 'cold turkey' the withdrawal symptoms were intolerable, so I would never take them again (that's not to say it's the same for anybody). Same goes for methadone, which I would never, ever consider. Maybe I have the addictive gene. Exercise helps, but only temporary relief, and a bath helps too, but only for as long as I am in it (I often fall asleep in the bath from pure exhaustion, which is a worry). Tried folic acid, vitamins, magnesium, even, yes, the bar of soap nonsense. The only positive thing I can recommend is green tea, which has been surprisingly helpful if taken in regular quantities. Anyone else find this?
