I used the lidocaine patches for a while, to see if I would be able to get relief from them.. I however did not get relief, but everyone with RSD is different, so the treatment may well work for you. The patches do little to hinder you at all. If I remember correctly I was not supposed to walk on the patch (I used it on the sole of my foot) But I used it in the evenings and mornings, so wasn't a problem. You will feel little effect other than a slight numbing of the skin and possibly a bit of numbness in the area directly around the patch. I wouldn't worry much about using them, they are pretty innocous, besides it's worth the try.... They may work well... Hoping everything turns out well for you - Jessica
