I have not heard of anyone else saying that ketamine cream burns. Would it by chance have another ingredient, like capsation (sp?) which is made from hot peppers? It is sometimes used for RSD. I know it burns a lot. You might want to ask for just lidocaine and ketamine and see if it burns, or ask for a cream with a different base, as possibly you are allergic to the base.

Or ask for lidoderm patches.

I use cream and patches. Patches while I am at work for the areas I cannot reach (my RSD is in shoulders and down my back, so I cannot put the cream on my self)... the cream does not last the 10 hours I am gone at work, so the patches go on the worst areas that I cannot reach to put additional cream on during the time I am at work.

My cream has other things in it.. Off the top of my head, I think it has ketamine, baclofen, ketoprofen, lidocaine, amitriptolin (sp?) - and a something I am forgetting. I know there are 6 things.

Good luck to you!
 I Ben It's really good to see you back on the boards again! Sorry to hear your having a bad time right now..I know the feeling believe me! My injury was in my right knee and the RSD has gotten so bad in my right foot and leg walking is getting just about in possible for me as well..but I keep going! I still use my cane and roller walker w/seat and I'll fight till the end before I have to give in to a wheel chair or scooter!!
Ben what will happen to your WC case if you move to another state? won't you have to close it??? I hope soon you find so sort of reilf for your pain...that scs machince doesn't seem to be helping you much if your needing more pain meds, that's why I don't want that little burger inplanted in me...I've heard too many people say they don't work...keep us updated Ben and don't stay away so long ok
