Please read my thread/post "Intractable ....Ketamine/Midazoiam.

If you research and learn more info, esp if it offered here is the State, please report back.
There is no "cure". There IS Remission but no cure. Once you have rsd, if treated very early, a few get remission, which is a total lack of pain and any other symptoms of rsd. I read on your other thread you're wc and I know how that is. I was once a wc case myself. Meds, blocks and pt if needed are the "usual" treatments that are done first.

It's very difficult to deal with rsd in the beginning because so many things are going on with the rsd assaulting the body and so much info to try and process. There are other treatments available, hbot - Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, Lidocaine infusions and if you can find a doc who does it...ketamine infusions not to be confused with the ketamine coma which is not done in the US. There were 2 places Germany and Mexico but now only Mexico is doing it. You have to be really bad off to even qualify to get there. The infusions are done in hospital over 5 days I think. I think of ketamine as one of those very last solution things though. It comes with a lot of risk.

I think that's the basics in a nutshell and I don't want to overwhelm you any more with gobs of info.

Hugs,

Karen
