The muscles in the jaw are all interconnected to muscles of the neck and scalp and from there to back of head/ear. So that is not unusual. A lovely facial massage will help and also a massage of the scalp and neck. U may even find ur shoulders are tense...as I said...it is all connected. Good luck with ur jaw pain...a heat pack or hot towel wrapped around covering the jaw will help it to relax and settle a bit;)
