Ten years ago I started having tinggling and numbness in my right hand, the EMG test proved that I have carpal tunnel. The surgery was done however, I experienced a different type of pain after the surgery which is continuing as of todaty. I'm diognoised for having RSD and receiving lidocaine infusion every week .I need to find some medical proof that the carpal tunnel could lead to RSD.Please help me.
Thanks,Rozita
what kind of dr. is treating you? It is hard to prove 100% for sure that carpal tunnel caused RSD because so many things can start it some people have it and never had any kind of injury or surgery at all. You will probably have to find another doctor if your dr is not willing to make the connection.
