... I was angry! I work at that hospital and they were not taking the amount of pain I was in seriously! They gave me NOTHING for pain. All I wanted was some type of injection to take off the edge! Anyone who knows me knows that I am not someone who takes much meds, other than Ibuprophen for occasional headaches. ... (6 replies)

... It's possible the cortisone injection caused your fat pad atrophy. I don't think that there is anything that can be done except to make sure you have a good heel pad in your shoes, like one of those silicone heel pads. Please let us know what your doctor says about your heel. ... (8 replies)

... e treated immediately. I don't think I would go in telling the PMD that Mayo ruled out RSD. I would tell him of your unrelenting pain, let him make the call if you have RSD. The PMD will be able to see it and if you get a good feeling from him, then on your next appt. ... (13 replies)

... my medicine and put me on Lyrica, mobic, cymbalta, topamax and for pain lidocaine patches, darvocet or loratab depends on how bad the pain gets. The pain does go from light to severe and I try not use anymore pain meds that I have to hoping my on bodies pain medicine will help. ... (5 replies)

Mine was a lumbar injection because the rsd is in my left leg,knee down. I have heard lots of different opinions from people on blocks. Some do see a big difference. ... (4 replies)
