... Hi bobby, I know what you mean. I have Type 1 and test at least 12 times per day and use an insulin pump. At times, I get more pain doing these than I think I should, especially with the pump and I think it's related to the RSD. As far as meds...I have a morphine/bupivacaine pump and take Zoloft, MSIR (as needed) and Celebrex (as needed). Sharon :) (11 replies)

... :wave: eunie and jodom, this has not been a good day. finally broke down and went to my family DR today. (MY rx for b/p meds was up) now for the last 4 months my b/p has been extremely high . I have ??? this at PM DR appt's and have been told it was most likely unrelated although pain will elevate b/p.it isnt a w/c issue since I had been treated for high b/ p prior to rsd.... (8 replies)

... I too think you should take the Lyrica. I would also say you should go to a pool and exercise as much as possible in deep water to keep the blood flowing to the affected area and prevent the muscle atrophy. The previous answer is right, the more pain you have the less likely you are to use the limb, the less the blood flow and muscle you will have and the more like it will... (2 replies)

I took it for 2 days. Then my P/T asked if I was taking amitriptyline (elavil). I told her no. She had the ortho doc precsribe it for me. In small doses it's supposed to help rsd. I'm not...
