... Sealover, No idea why it relapsed. I was reading some recent writings by the doctor who originally diagnosed my RSD(RND) at 15. Dr. David Sherry. He said the studies have shown that 92% of children with RND who go through with (his) in-patient physical therapy treatment don't relapse within 5 years. RND is mostly found in children too. Swelling on the joints and limbs is not obvious on the outside and sometimes never shows up in Xrays. ... (9 replies)
... Hi, *I'm not a mom.. I'm a 16 year old RND/RSD patient. But I thought I'd let you know that I just started at Children's Hospital in Seattle. Its a program of physical therapy and counseling. They are telling me that 80% leave the program pain free after 3 weeks! I really recommend counseling even if your child doesn't do the phycial therapy stuff because its helped me so... (1 replies)
