... I have to jump on the bandwagon and say, too, that swimming helped my RSD tremendously. Broke my left wrist and got RSD probably from the trauma. Was jogging in the pool and moving my arms as much as I could even while the cast was still on, and continued swimming 5 days a week after the cast was off. ... In the majority of the cases, yes, unfortunately. If you don't go into remission very early then chances are very unlikely that it will happen. Of all the stories of people with RSD that I've read, I've only read about 1 person that went into remission after having had it for a few years.
