Botox gone bad

I had RSD in my foot before, and had an EMG nerve test done in my foot and calf, and the pain and spasms it caused lasted over a month. ... I think they do the EMGs to rule any other type of nerve damage.. It only helps the Drs dx you correctly... Sounds like its been most of our course of treatments and steps towards diganosing RSD.. ... (10 replies)

... i really don't understand just why they are actually even doing this test at all if this is supposed to actually idnetify anything really related to EMG will only tell a very small part of a huge possibility of nerve willonly pick up a compressed or significantly damaged nerve,thats it. ... ... Hi, I agree it was pretty horrible. I had mine done last year. I had the needles put in starting near my foot, and going up my thigh, my butt (That was the worst part), and then up my back (Because I have RSD in my foot, but my back has pain a lot, which is how they found the pinched nerve. ... The first EMG test they did they found an ulnar nerve problem and I have had three surgeries to correct it. They wanted to rule out and ulnar nerve problem because I was told it can bring on similar symptoms to RSD. My ulnar nerve was relocated, and I still have pain but not like before. ... (15 replies)

... Hi Sybro, I did have an emg, it was awful. He put needles in my leg down to my foot. That is where I am having all of the pain. It turns out that I have nerve damage in my L5 nerve. So I had multiple injections to help to determine if it was in fact rsd. Unfortunatley, I do have RSD as well as L5 nerve damage. ... (15 replies)
