... Hi Yolanda, I don't know about the nose bleeds or headache. They could very well be related to the RSD. In my opinion, they don't know enough about RSD to definitively tell me something is or is not related to the RSD. I would definitely make an appointment with her doctor. It could be related to something other than RSD. It's best to put your mind at ease and ask the doc.... (3 replies)

Her unRSD leg went numb again last night, we had to carry her to her bed. So far this morning she has been okay. But, I have another question. ... My doc used the example of a boxer getting a punch and then reeling from that punch until he stands up straight. He said that with a lumbar sympathetic block (which I have had) they hope to have the nerve/s "reel" a bit and if you are lucky after they "reel" a bit they will go back to the way they were before RSD. Unfortunately, I've discovered at least in my case that didn't... (3 replies)

Hi Knave, the block you need for RSD in the foot is a lumbar sympathetic nerve block, My pain management dr would put me to sleep for mine, my doctor would have me lay on my belly and use a fludroscopic xray to guide the needle in the lower mid back on my left side, my left foot and leg have RSD, I never felt a thing was able to walk out with out any help after the anethesia...
