... welcome to our little forum family. You have really been through it with your knee, one thing avalanching into another. I am so sorry! I have left hand and wrist RSD and it has improved quite a bit through blocks, meds, and PT. At this time a SCS is not something I'm considering so I can't help you there. ... (4 replies)

... t helps knowing you people are there. It seems like it's been a long road already and I really haven't been on it that long. I haven't been able to work since my TKR in December which hasn't helped. I work on a dairy farm milking cows so I'm used to being pretty active, so it's not easy, and it's far from over. ... ... was in so much pain, and its my arm, from my elbow to my hand that has rsd. so just really listen to your pm, he knows what he's talking about if he's dealt with rsd before. take the pain meds if he offers them, you don't have to take them if you don't want to, but you never know when you might need them. ... ... hi jim, i too developed this after tkr 3/31/06. thought i had high pain tolorence (natural childbirth was nothing compared to this ) luckily no children in home to see this- unfortunatly family lives in mo. i live in fl. and between jumping thru hoops for wc and dr's cant make plans for travel even if i could stand 3 hrs on plane . see, we all whine from time to time .guess...
