... Hey Linda, I agree with the earplugs, that's about the only way I can think of to knock down on some of the noise. As for riding long distances in the car. I find that a couple, or more if necessary, of soft, squishy pillows to rest my hand and arm on help with the bumps and potholes on the road. ... Linda, I agree with cattys the vibration from the car won't make RSD spread. For the noise of the motorcycles, I'd get ear plugs. I think that is the only thing that will help, as far as making it a less painful day I don't think anything will do that. ... (8 replies)

... kat yes, i have constant ringing in my left ear mostly, i didn't associate it with rsd but having read alot of peoples threads i realise it must be, it get's on my bloody nerves! ... :blob_fire I can't go in the car for more then a 5 or 10 min ride.At least my doctor is only 5 minutes from my house.Most of our family just don't understand why a car ride would hurt me so much,but if we have to go some where that is any longer I'm flat in bed,crying for the next week or more from the pain.So I really never go anywhere unless I really have to!!!!!So don't...
