What about smoking?*
Many people with OCD find that it alleviates the symptoms, but what about symtoms of psychosis and general schizophrenia and bipolar?

* I DO NOT condone smoking whether or not I do or do not smoke in the first place.

I've never heard of smoking easing the symptoms of bipolar, but when you think about it, it does make sense. I would think that when a person experiences mania they want to smoke more than usual because it gives them even more of a "high." The same is true for bipolar depression although in this case, smoking is probably done to help one feel better.

I don't smoke (I'm allergic to cigarette smoke), so I can't comment based on my own personal experience.
