... tigger, If I were you, I'd ask your pdoc if he/she could place you on an antipsychotic to help relieve your auditory hallucinations. ... I wish I were capable of willful suppressions when it comes to my auditory hallucinations. Unfortunately, I just can't do it no matter how hard I try. As I mentioned before, my tdoc says this is because I've lost complete touch with reality and therefore don't have the means necessary to think clearly -- let alone think coherently about the voices I hear. dreams in neon... ... Hi tigger, What you're describing could be auditory hallucinations. I would describe exactly what you're hearing, when and how often to your pdoc so he/she can determine what is going on. ... Just stay away from Halodol( read my other posts) my friend has teh exact same diagnosis and horrible attack with Halodol . You need to be stable , not on something that bring pain and horrible highs and lows.All these meds effect people differently. But consensus says , avoid Halodol?
