... Huh. That's odd that they would have given you an anti-psychotic then. Since you didn't mention OCD before, the only other reason I can think of that you would be taking a schizophrenia-type drug is if you truly believe that your obsessions are real, even when you're not obsessing. A small fraction of OCD-ers can be delusional and not know that the intrusive thoughts are... (7 replies)

... SSRI's have failed time and time again for me. Antidepressants are complete junk. I don't have obsessive thoughts, but my Doctor decided I had OCD. Maybe he's wrong? In any case, antipsychotics have helped, and Psychiatrists do use them as anti-anxiety meds. (7 replies)

Well, as far as medication goes you've tried all the atypical anti-psychotics except for clozaril (which, given its potential for severe side-effects, a doctor is unlikely to prescribe to someone who is not diagnosed with schizophrenia) and Geodon. Maybe you could try Geodon (Ziprasidone)? I do know of a few schizophrenics who, along with the mental pain of... (2 replies)

... I have not been able to reply, because I've been going through the motions. Trying to survive in this personal hell. I've tried everything, well maybe not every type of anti-pyscotic, but I've tried a lot.... Including... Seroquel, Risperdal, Geodon, Abilify, Zeprexa, Trilifon, Thorazine, Melliril, and bi-polar drugs such as lithium, and Depakote ER. I dont know what... (10 replies)
