Mole on toe. Melanoma??

Ok i'm barely fourteen. I have a dark, black, tiny mole on my third toe on my right foot. It's like the size of a pinhead. probably 2mm. It is right next to my toenail. It is flat, and I had it for a while now. It has never changed in symmetry or color. It has never raised, either. After reading articles and articles about melanoma last night I was scared to death. I asked my mom and she said it was normal. But I wanted to go online to make sure.
