... You will be fine, don't worry. I did something similar a couple years ago. I scratched off the top of a mole that looked black. It grew back and my dermatologist biopsied it and it came back a blue nevus. You can still have the area biopsied, unless you completely removed the whole thing. ... (2 replies)

... If your Dr. is cool with it, I wouldn't worry about it. I would suggest removal if the cosmetic outcome looks favorable. That way you never have to worry about it again and you can save valuable plucking time. I will warn you though, I had one removed and biopsied on my face (it was nothing) but it grew back (without the dark color) and I do still have to pluck one black ugly... (1 replies)
