I've heard a lot about the vivid dreams while taking Chantix, but I think it has more to do with how your brain reacts to a lack of nicotine than taking any particular pill. My brother quit cold turkey, didn't use nicotine replacement Wellbutrin or anything, just flat-out quit, and he had the same sort of dreams after about a week of not smoking. For him, they were very vivid and sometimes downright scary. Then I started thinking that maybe it's not the Chantix, maybe it's just after years of smoking your brain kicks into overdrive "searching" for some nicotine and the result is these dreams. And some people have them and some don't. I should have my Chantix prescription today and plan on starting it tomorrow (Friday) and the dreams/sleeplessness have me concerned. I don't function well if I don't get enough sleep. But I'm trying to prepare myself. Good luck to you!!!!!
