... Hang in there, seaturtle...like Debbie says, it does get easier as times passes along. I smoked 30+ years like you too, and now I haven't smoked in 26 months!! :) I didn't go through the bad withdrawls tho, as I quit using patches. Everyone does it their own way...whatever works for us, we have to do it..as long as we reach our goal, and that's to QUIT!!! Congratulations,... (8 replies)
... Seaturtle, The first week of not smoking is called H3ll Week for a reason. The good news is, next week is called heck week because it DOES get better!! If you have been quit for 2 days, tomorrow will be day 3 and they say all the nasty nicotine is out of your system by then.
