... Hi RC, I suffered with the constipation, gas and nausea while on the Chantix. I took milk of magnasia on 3 occasions (full dose). LOTS of bran, like shredded wheat twice a day, green leafy veggies and metamucil every morning. I even got some prunes and ate 4 or 5 each day. ... My wife in on Champix, its the same drug as Chantix.... it all comes down to licensing issues with the names of drugs. In Canada its also called champix and so far my wife has been 2 weeks without a cigarette and the only side effect she suffers from is increased sex drive.... I can't keep up! Hahaha! (8 replies)
