... THis site is an asset. I had my 2 level ACDF done 12/10. I too wasn't prepared for the pain or muscle spasms. I want to say that after 1 month some of the pain gets better. THe muscle spasms last for a while and it depends on the type of collar you are wearing. By the 3 month and 4 month mark you are in decent shape.
