Re: Incision dry

After my surgery on Oct 17 my doctor and the nurses told me it was okay to take a shower after 3 days. They said the incision didn't have to be covered up but I had to be careful not to let the shower water hit directly on the incision. They didn't recommend taking a bath because the bath water would be dirtier than the shower water. I have only covered my incision with a water proof 2" x 3" bandaid and it has worked fine.
