Sorry didn't reply sooner, have just being going through past posts for the last few days.

Anyway, cervical surgery is very safe nowadays and has high success rates.
I had my C6 vertebra chipped away and the discs above and below removed, then bone from my hip put in the gap with titanium plate and screws. Was up walking about that night and home within 2 days of surgery.
That was in aug 7th 02... I am still doing very good.
Any questions you want to ask, well, we are here for you.
