cervical radiculopathy! Neck pain!

Countrygirl and Dixiegirl (I too am a southern girl, these days. . .) My doctor has recommended corizone shots to my cervical spine to be done by an anesthesiologist. I am very afraid to do this. Afraid of the risk and the pain involved. After reading your experiences I am even less ready to try this. Is this what you did? I am currently using something called the Egoscue Method (it's exercises) and it seems to be helping (not counting a flare up that was quite painful in my right arm and ahoulder.) I am brand new to this whole site, and anything like this - never did this before. I guess I just wanted to put my 2 cents in and see how you progress before I committ to the shots! My anesthesiologist wants ME to pay upfront and my insurance (car accident) to reimburse me. So, I have to get the ok from them before I do anything, anyway. Any advice would be appreciated. I sure hope you get some relief cause I know this is a bad pain when it is acting up. Thanks.
