Spinal Cord Disorders Board Index

Axial images at the C2-C3 level show a left paracentral spur disc
complex effacing anterolateral thecal sac and causing mild left-sided
neural foraminal narrowing.

Axial images C3-C4 level redemonstrated left-sided uncovertebral facet
osteophyte formation causing mild left-sided neural foraminal narrowing.

Axial image at C4-C5 level shows right paracentral disc protrusion
effacing anterolateral thecal sac and causing mild to moderate
right-sided neural foraminal narrowing, spinal cord is not effaced.

Axial images C5-C6 level shows broad-based right paracentral disc
protrusion that effaces anterolateral thecal sac up and is causing
moderate right-sided neural foraminal narrowing.

Axial images at C6-C7 level shows bilateral uncovertebral facet
degenerative changes, as well as moderate broad-based posterior disc
protrusion causing degree of spinal canal stenosis and moderate
bilateral neural foraminal narrowing.

Axial images at C7-T1 level show mild broad based disc protrusion that
effaces anterior thecal sac, the neural foramen are patent.

IMPRESSION: There is multilevel degenerative change of the cervical
spine, with several levels of spinal canal effacement and neural
foraminal narrowing, most pronounced findings at C5-C6 and C6-C7 level.
