... Well, A reivsion means to take out the titanium plate/screws and install a new one. I did not fuse correctly. The interbody cages will be used instead of harvesting bone from my hip as they did my first surgery. They insert a needle to draw some bone marrow out of the bone and put it int he cage and your done! I jsut need some info. on post op pain etc... I had the same... (4 replies)

... Estella, I feel for you.. I had C5-C6, C6-C7 it was about Nov 2006 that I had the surgery. From what I can remember..yes it was horrible to recooperate regarding the pain, but it WILL get better. ... I had my surgery in Ft. Worth and feel really well. I am still wearing the hard collar as my nuerosurgeon is in a group and he is the only one to require the hard collar for four weeks and his fusion rate is better than the others, so I do not mind the hard collar.
