... I had an ACDF C5-C7 last Jan. Like you, I did not take any NSAIDS post surgery till at least 6 months. If I get a headache and cannot take it anymore....I take 1 Vicodin and it usually knocks it out. I dont think taking one per day if you seriously needed it would be bad. ... Hi Paul, I had ACDF on 2 levels (C5 - C7) with a plate on April 23, 2002. I was in the hospital one night and I was only lightheaded the first day home. I was up and walking a few days after surgery. After 4 weeks, your wife should be feeling much better.
