... Thanks. I did get a lot more information on my last visit. My c5-6 is herniated and flattening the cord on the right side. My c6-7 is bulging pretty good too. I have an appt with a neuro in 2 weeks and will start PT on Friday. The ortho that I saw said they wouldn't even bother with injections as they wouldn't help. I may have mispoken...I dont think the nuero said that myelomalacia would cause any pain....He just said something about the cervical tracks to the legs can cause issue with legs when there is cord compression. ... Sounds like your in a frustrating situation & I can completely understand. I wanted you to know it took approx. 2 years for my spinal injury to be considered worthy of any doctors attention. ... Could you have Carpel Tunnel Syndrome? My husband had issues with his fingers, hands and wrists and the pain sometimes went up to his wrists. That may not explain the neck pain, but, may help with the arm hand issues. I know that I tried many conservative treatments prior to surgery.
