I walk on the treadmill 2 miles about 4 times a week, and use skelaxin...which works okay when it's built up in my system but then causes depression and heart palpitations. ... Hi Kathy, I have had a bad week. This situation with the diverticulitis really got me down. Between the stomach pain and the neck/back pain I am at my wits end. The stomach is finally feeling almost back to normal but the antibiotics are pretty nasty and make my stomach feel like there is a metal cage pressing in on it.
