... 60-70% narrowing is quite a bit and the instability means it's possible for the vertebra to slip further and cause more impingement. Did the MRI indicate spinal cord compression (unless you have an unusually wide spinal canal there is likely some), or foraminal compression? The severity of that may help inform the decision.
