Hello Sandy, I had a 3 level ACDF C4-C7 (bone on bone)with titanium plate and 6 screws in Feb/09, my neurosurgeon advised complications arose and surgery took longer than anticipated, I could have had taken bone from my hip but did not want additional pain issues.
