... am doing great. I am only experiencing tightness in my shoulder, back area. I am wearing my hard collar and am following the no lift over 5 lb rule. ... ust called my PM office and they do blood patches. I guess he wants me to see neuro before he decides to do it. With all the waiting time to see the neuro., the swelling at the incision has gone down tremendously!! I hope the fluid is just left over and it's healing!!! ... swallowing issues. I had started to have itching due to the adhesives to tegaderm and mastasol but removed all dressings and all is well. I have little to now swelling at incision site. ... w put monitors on your forehead that tell them if you are "out". It can happen...I was not completely out when they started my carpal tunnel surgery and felt the incision and tried to scream...but couldn't...and it's haunted me it's okay to tell them you are concerned. ... well welcome back hon, we have been wondering how things have been going all this time. i am wondering a couple of things tho? your ulnar nerve is actually way down at what is also called the c 8 nerve pretty far down from where you had your surgery at? unless you have ALOT of swelling there, you may just have to wait and see how things play out over the next like four weeks... ... Oh my. Is your incision good, no redness-swelling-oozing? Please report unexplained fever 100 degrees and over with terrible headache to the PA. You could have a virus or infection or pneumonia which sometimes hides when it is walking pneumonia. Take care. (7 replies)
... and you won't have to deal with that stuff at home. I think rushing it they take the drains out too fast, and that could lead to swelling, or problems with the incision down the line. It's only one night! Unless you are having the minimally invasive kind, why not stay the night! ... (7 replies)
