... JF... try getting the EMG to check for nerve damage. That seems to be my problem too. I got the EMG/NCV on Friday and am awaiting the results. The bladder problems are the worst, and they are not from medication in my case, because I avoid the meds and deal with the pain constantly, because I cannot stand the way meds make me feel ------------------ Jackie... ... Fly... My doctor suggested an EMG/NCV... He thinks I have permanent nerve damage... ... Hi Jan... before I herniated my discs I was very athletic and worked out 3-4 times per week, walked everday for 30-60 minutes and was full of energy. Since all this began in the end of May, I have a hard time even doing the darn laundry. My housework has suffered, I have hardly enjoyed the summertime with my family. ... Today is just awful for me, the pain is on a level 10! I have a pounding headache and I feel like I'm losing my mind!!! Can anyone shed some insight on why I am choking at least once a day. ... Cat... please do come up with that headrest! My hubby said to me after the accident... "how did it affect your neck, you have a head-rest"... HUH, like I lay back and drive... Right hon! I would be dead! I am not sure what made the neck feel like it does today, but I am suffering alot today, very limited on the range of motion issue and therefore the head is really pounding....
