well, i dont know if im posting this in the right place but i got a problem.
me and my girlfriend have been together for a month and have completely fallen for one another.. it's like a match made in heaven.. it cant get any better... hold that thought...we are both seniors in high school and both going to 2 different colleges... 200 miles away from one another... now i do not want to end our relationship because i truly love the girl and can't picture myself being with anyone else... now i know you're sayin " well it's only been one month and things change" well things arent gonna change i know it. I just dont know what to do.. should i drop all my previous plans of going to my original choice of college and go with her or should i just test our relationship for a while.. I could always transfer.. or she could... you know?? I just need some advice...i want to have fun while im with her these last couple months but in the back of my mind i have this burden eating at me....
WHOA.......... Slooooooooooooow down just a little bit. Ok, if this girl is THE ONE, then she will wait for you regardless. But, I am concerned for you because you've stated that you've only been together a month. Boy, you've still got your head in the clouds. How can you decide the fate of your entire future over someone you've only been with a month?

My advice to you is: Plan your future wisely. If you have a chance to go to a good college, then pursue your career first. Get your life in order, plan out what you want to do with yourself first. There are plenty of long distance relationships that work out.

I have a friend who moved away after college to start his career, and left his girlfriend behind, but their relationship has never been stronger. He's establishing a life for himself so he can be a better person for both of them. They plan to marry soon.

Please, please, please finish school. So many of us get caught up in the whirlwind of life and make so many quick decisions without thinking them through completely. I never finished college, but got pregnant instead, and now have to work full time in order to raise my family. You will have many great experiences in life, and once you go to college, you may see things very differently. You may even find that the relationship wasn't meant to be in the first place.

But, if you can make it through all of the twists and turns that lie ahead, you'll learn to appreciate the time that the two of you share, and come out of the experience with a stronger bond and a deeper love for one another.
