Lets put things into another perspective for a minute. If you were this girl, would you consider yourself more of a best friend or a potential boyfriend? Ask yourself this question and answer this question while staying objective, and don't automatically say yes without pondering it first. Like can you honestly say that you've dropped a few hints and flirted with her? And I'm not talking about that friendly guy flirting either, because that won't get you anywhere, and you'll always be nothing more than a good friend in her book. You say you've gone out with this girl a few times. What's that like? If you were a spectator observing you two, would it look more like a friendly relationship or does it show signs of a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship? The problem wth these kind of relationships is that early on in the relationship, the guy tends to become more of a nice guy and good friend and not looked as as a potential boyfriend. First impression is everything. If you gave her the impression earlier in your relationship that you had feelings for her more then a friend then she knows what's up, but if were nothing more than a nice and good friend to talk to, it might be weird. You've been good friends with this girl obviously, but you don't want to weird her out by coming out and asking her out, without knowing for sure that she feels the same. If you're cool with one of her friends, ask her friend to ask her if she has feelings for you as more than a friend. Take this approach if you can't read this girl and can't tell for sure if she feels the same way for you.
