TMJ Disorder -TemporoMandibular Joint Board Index

Hello. I had oral surgery to clean out an infection in my sinus cavity and remove a tooth about 2 years ago. About 5 months later I started to develop popping/crackling in my left ear when I swallow. It started in my left ear (the same side of my mouth that lost the tooth and was operated on) and progressed to both. I also began to develop a bone cracking in my jaw joint when I would chew food and at times a side of jaw would feel really tight like the ligament was sore. The sounds in my ear go away after I yawn, but only for 1 or 2 swallows. To say it is life altering would be the understatement of the year. I also have tinnitus bad enough that I have to sleep with a fan on or some white noise in the background.

I am in the dark about much of TMJ and understand symotms can be objective from person to person but has anyone heard of these? Is this TMJ or does my problem most likely fall elsewhere? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
