... e are paolpable, tender to touch, maybe mine are disaeased, calcified and too long which can be a condtion called Eagles syndrome, and Ernest syndrome, only a 3D CT scan will these show up on to diagnose. WHY no Doctor could tell me what they were, as its basic anatomy and even myself couldn't find out till recent.......... ... (2 replies)

Hi I have tmj I saw a dentist in London Dr Aj Hedger he knew what the problem is and how to sort it but could not afford the price as it was to much and was no way I could afford it so I have gone to my local dentist who refer me to the hospital on the nhs their did xrays ct scan and said their could find nothing wrong with me Aj Hedger touch my jaw said it was dislocated... ... :angel: :angel::angel: Completely sounds like what happened to me, except i did not allow the maxillofacial dr. to pull my 4 wisdom teeth.....he didn't even diagnose me with tmj....he just looked at the pan xray and mri and said, "You need all 4 of your wisdom teeth pulled". I am sooooo glad my "gut" said, "no"...it was the Holy Spirit....i can only imagine how much worse... (7 replies)

... Sorry you have been dealing with this for 6 years. Not everyone experience the same symptoms of tmj so it can be hard to diagnose, even for specialists. ... (3 replies)
