... The book "Taking Charge of TMJ" by Robert Uppguard shows several exercises and stretches that have helped me. Moist heat helps and sometimes ice does. I also go to Acupuncture once a week. ... to give you some hope, i've had periods in my life where my grinding has stopped. i mainly gauge it by what my bf says, tho. he sometimes will wake me up to tell me that im grinding, but it hasnt happened in awhile. he believes that my repositioning splint has helped stop grinding. it seems that grinding comes and goes for me, and stress is a big factor. - saaraah.
