... I purchased it last summer (see my thread entitled 'grindalert' or 'home biofeedback device') and while the idea is good, it hasn't really reduced my grinding. In addition, there are numerous product defects that have yet to be resolved (I called the company BEFORE my 30 days were up, was promised that they would send out a pre-paid mailing package, and it never happened. ... ... Glad it's helping you... I had the same response after the first few nights, but after a few months and still no reduction in grinding (guess my jaw doesn't listen to my subconscious, or at least reason that if it doesn't move I'll get more sleep) I have my doubts. In addition, the mechanical device began to act up shortly after purchase (beep randomly and not shut off when... (6 replies)

... Yes, its the Grindalert. I have heard some complaints also but I think they are from people who don't really understand how its supposed to work. I used to have the biofeedback night-guard that worked OK but I hated having it in my mouth all night and waking up with wet pillows from drooling. The complaints are mostly from people that think they are supposed to be woken... (10 replies)
... Has your doctor/dentist given you any help to quit clenching? Perhaps someone who has successfully quit clenching could give your some help. The most common means are the NTIss (very small anterior splint), meditation, medication, biofeedback (GrindAlert), balancing the bite. Different things seem to work for different people. In any case, if clenching is causing TMJ... (9 replies)
