Muscle relaxants?

... Do muscle relaxants seem to help the jaw muscles relax? I have wondered also about alcohol - having one or 2 drinks a day - will that help TMJ? I feel that my entire upper body is one big tense KNOT. :confused: And when I exercise - which I know is good and relieves stress and tension - I get pain in my left neck sometimes so that furthers my anxiety.
