I am only a 21 year old male and have been this burning sensation at the tip of the penis for about 6 weeks. The doctor originally prescribed me Zithromax, 2 pills one time, which didn't help at all. I then tried Levaquin for 10 days which didn't help the symptoms either. I recently saw a urologist who prescribed me doxycycline for 14 days and that didn't do anything either.

There is a constant pain in at the tip of the penis which increases after I ejaculate. The urologist thought I had prostatitis however the antibiotics havent helped. He did a DRE on me and the prostate wasn't enlarged or abnormal however because it hurts after I ejaculate he thinks that its prostatitis . I take URI-STAT and ibuprofen to help ease the pain however that doesn't last very long. I am going to see the Urologist again next week and I don't know what to say or what step is next.

Anyone with any advice would be great. Thanks

Also, through reading other threads, people with prostatitis say to ejuculate often. However my problem is that the pain increases after ejaculate so I am hesitant to do that. Any thoughts?
