I have the same kind of discomfort. I had a documented UTI about one month ago, I was put on cipro and when that didn't seem to clear it up, I was put on another antibiotic (as well as 2 yeast infection medicines). Now my urine cultures show up clean, but I am still have general discomfort in the vagina area. I had never had a UTI or anything like this before. The irritation becomes more or less severe, but its a nagging pain and just won't go away. I have tried Replens for 3 days(vaginal mosturizer) thinking it might be vaginal dryness- an effect of the UTI, which gives me temorary comfort, but still it just won't go away. I just saw a urologist, who assures me it is nothing serious and will go away on its own, to just be patient and try not to stress over it, as that can make it worse. Of course, how can you not constantly think about an irritation like this?!?!? Does anyone have any advice or a similar problem? Please help!

It is many months later and no one ever found anything, I still get random pains, but I mostly just ignore them, I wish I could be more help, but it definitely got better than it was, maybe over time it will be gone..at least I hope it will be.
